My real job is to invent partial solutions to climate change full-time. If I don't work full time on climate inventing, I doubt that anybody else will, not at anywhere near my level of production. In that case you, my reader, might in time have occasion for regret.

As you might guess I've always been seriously intelligent, off-scale in standardized mathematics tests. I suspect that part-time inventors don't succeed because they don't get to develop their inventor instincts and experience over several decades. I;ve been inventing.something or other for my entire life. I'm persistent.

My life is ordered so that I have time to simply invent, much as the poet Robert Frost ordered his life so that he could write poetry. I've always lived cheap, somewhat on the edge but with a little bit saved up. I don't own a house to take care of. I started driving at age 40. I've never (so far) had a permanent full-time paying job. I invent in the middle of the night or whenever I can..

This may sound strange, but my job isn't to publicize. That's somebody else's job. My job isn't to found a company and make many billions of dollars while saving the planet. That's somebody else's job. Always keep in mind that I can't do everything. My job is to do what, as far as I can see, only I can do. Then I trust that these other jobs get done. And so, I see myself as a coordinator of perhaps 100 committees of brave people who love their home. I provide the seeds. You can start patiently growing one of these absolute seeds from hard shells up until they put two tiny leaves in the air.

Communicate with me! I'm still a bit lonely, sometimes I like it that way but at other times I need connections with other human beings just like everyone else.
